We wanted a variety of experiences on our trip and wanted to go off the beaten path and visit with locals, and the trip planned was great for that. We got to spend time with a small village in the mountains to see and learn more about their lives, we spent time at the beautiful salt flats and lucked out with brief good weather for it. And an odd request on our part, they put us in touch and connected with a dog rescue organization in La Paz, which we were so happy to meet and support. A very unique and well planned out trip.
The best parts:
Everyone was so flexible and attentive to our goals on our trip and were always willing to do everything they could to accommodate. Wenceslau and Teresa were great.
The worst parts:
Honestly there's nothing I can really complain about from the standpoint of how the trip was planned, organizers, or run.

We actually started with wanting to visit the salt flats in Bolivia. As we went through the tour details, we realized about high elevations and wanted to gradually move-up. So, we added Santa Cruz and Sucre before moving to La Paz, Titicaca and Uyuni. We are glad we did that as we got acclimatized well, did not fall sick and enjoyed the trip. Wandering through the Bolivian desert and Atacama was really a great trip.
The best parts:
We loved everything in our trip. We visited various cities and landscapes, it was amazing. Definitely the best part was the Uyuni salt flats. We loved it. We had wonderful guides who were passionate, helpful and took us to all good places.
The worst parts:
Not really worst; but while we had private tours in Bolivia, it was semi-private tours in Atacama, Chile. This is not a complaint. We really loved it; but if they had assembled the tourists with same language in a group, it would have been better. We had people with 3 different languages and the guide had to repeat the same thing 3 different times and we felt we did not get the full picture.
