Xerokampos is a small village to the east of Crete, in Greece.

My suggestion:
If it's peace you're after, you're in luck!
My review

The small village of Xerokampos is a hidden paradise kept secret for the time being. In the low season, you'll be in luck. You can go to the beach and literally be alone in the world.

It's starting to become better known due to its proximity to Lasithi, a city renowned for its outstanding beaches and mild climate all year round. But for me Xerokampos is no exception. Its beaches are truly spectacular, the weather is mild, and it's cut off from the world.

The (really) twisty road that leads to the beach is amazing. The water is a deep, transparent blue. In some of the small coves, legend has it that the clay there can heal your skin. I haven't found them, but I've met several people who told me about them.

Near the main beach, you'll find small taverns with exquisite food to try!
