Reviews of Agía Eiríni

Agia Eirini proves that the best perfumes come in small bottles. It's a small monastery on the island of Crete.

My suggestion:
Go there calmly, you'll enjoy each moment more.
My review

I must confess that my trip to Creteexceeded my expectations. Like a child, I enjoyed walks in the sunshine, the Mediterranean cuisine, the friendliness and spontaneity of all those I came across on my travels. However, there was one outing which surprised me a lot: the one to Agia Eirini.

This little monastery, located on the seafront (Cape Malee) and on the heights of a mountain, is a haven of little religious details. I was fascinated by the Orthodox adornments. Their frescoes and wooden sculptures inside stole my attention for a few hours. In addition, you breathe in a calm atmosphere, and if only for that, you should stop there for a few minutes.
