I want to thank Jannik and the team at******************** for all your help with planning this trip. It was a fantastic experience. The hotels were great, very clean, very well situated. We especially enjoyed ******************, we sat in their garden and could not believe how incredibly beautiful it was, even the children raved about it. And their restaurant - the food was just as incredible. The drivers - Wilfredo & William - were both patient and friendly, which is needed with a group of our size and age range. The guides - Irving, Gino, Diana, Alexandra - they were all really good, friendly, knowledgeable. Irving, Diana, and Alexandra were all excellent with the little ones. But I do have to call out Alexandra - she was incredible, and we wished she was our guide for the balance of the trip. She was with us for three days, and by then, she was a natural member of the group. Overall we were all impressed with the drivers, guides, tours, and locations, and it was a fantastic experience for all of us, which is hard to do with a large group of 11 people with such a varied age range of 4 to 72. Once again, thank you and your team, as well as the drivers, guides, and all the different staff for making this an unforgettable and fantastic trip/experience.
The best parts:
Everything was incredible. All the historic sites, Pisac, Moray, Ollantaytambo, Machu Picchu, the salt mines, the city tours of Lima & Cusco, Sunday mass at the Cathedral in Cusco and the day we spent with the local family. Everything was well organized and accommodated our group perfectly.
The worst parts:
The seating on the plane from Lima - we were a group of 11 ages 4 to 72 - they had each one of sitting in a different row, even the little kids so we had to be rearranged on the plane before we took off. That was the only hiccup on the trip

The best parts:
The planning of the trip was seamless! The agency (particularly Silvana and Vanessa) were very patient with my requests, and gave me great advice on timelines and attractions to visit. I was worried about the logistics of the trip but everything went so smoothly. Silvana was really great, always responsive and very helpful! Awesome service!!
The worst parts:
None! I had a lot of rain but that is hardly anyone’s fault

The trip itinerary was initially made out by us, and it involved traveling from the US to Lima and then on to Cusco. After 2 night's in Cusco we then boarded the train and travel to Machu Picchu. 2 night's were spent in Machu Picchu and then back to Cusco overnight. We then flew to Lake Titikaka, spent two night and then proceeded back to Lima where we spent one night and one whole day up until midnight before boarding a flight back to the US.
The best parts:
From the moment I was put in touch with the local Agency in Peru ie ***, and the local agent Jonas, I had a very positive experience. Jonas, bless his heart, was very prompt in responding to all my inquiries, no matter how annoying or frivolous they were, he always got back to me in a timely fashion offering explanations, clarifications and advice. Hotels, drivers and guides were are all selected and performed flawlessly, they were all punctual, vehicles were always in excellent condition, and the guides provided and in almost welts of knowledge, delivered in perfect English. I like the fact that Evaneos has a secure method of payment using a credit card, without any additional Service charge or need for a foreign transaction fee. This is a great plus compared to having to go to the bank and make an Inter bank transfer which is time-consuming and expensive. I like the fact that Evaneos solicits post trip input and publishes reviews completely unedited
The worst parts:
Really, there is nothing negative to report regarding the trip it's self; I would have liked to have been assigned a personal consier from Evanous once the deposit was made in the event I had questions related to the payment or travel insurance, rather than talking to a stranger or sending an email, that would have personalized the experience greatly.

Like already mentioned I loved the trip. My two favourit destinations were the Amazon rainforest and Cusco.
The best parts:
I actually liked all the cities and places we visuted. The tours we were able to participate were really interesting. I learnt a lot about the Peruan history and culture.
The worst parts:
After 10 days traveling around all the trips in bus and plane began to become harder. But I think this had to do with the stress and not with the trip it self.

Absolutely stunningly amazing
The best parts:
I loved scheduling, promptness, most hotels, destinations, planing and organization!
The worst parts:
Because I prefer more intimate spaces I thought some hotel rooms were too large. Maybe some unique hut or a tree house would be more exciting.

We loved this trip to Peru and would recommend it over and over again to our friends! Jannik did such a wonderful job listening to our needs and wants for the trip. He carefully planned everything, and the whole trip and all activities planned flowed seamlessly. We only 6 days to explore Peru and everything that was suggested was a great activity and really made us feel like we saw the most amount of items in the shortest amount of time. We stayed in Cusco a few days and then stayed in Ollantaymbo for a night, before hiking the last 1-2 hours of Machu Piccu. If you are physically capable and like to hike, I definitely recommend hiking up! We went back to ****** for the night and spent our final day in Lima. We did all the cities tours for each place and would definitely recommend everyone do these. It helps narrow down important places to see and actually understand what you are looking at! All of our tour guides spoke great English and were very knowledgeable of all the places we saw. Overall, everyone was extremely kind to us and the overall culture was so interesting and fun to learn. If you are debating this trip, just do it- you won't regret it!!!
The best parts:
I loved the culture, hotels we stayed at, and places we were encouraged to see. The tour guides were all very informative and made the tours very enjoyable. The schedule was right on and we were never late or rushed to get anywhere. So well organized, we had a great time!
The worst parts:
I really do not have any complaints about our trip, just two suggestions: 1) The itinerary is not clear about packing an overnight bag to Machu Piccu. In the future, I would change the verbiage to state: Your luggage must stay in the hotel at ******and will not come with you to Machu Piccu. Pack an overnight bag with necessities only as this will be the bag you carry around with you all day, including your hike. We got lucky and were told last minute that the bag would have to be carried all day, but some people didn't know that and were frustrated. 2) Tell the tour guide the first day to suggest buying altitude pills. I got really sick one morning and all the pharmacies were closed. I didn't know an altitude pill even existed until hours later. Just a tip to help travelers be prepared!

Machu Picchu was easily the highlight of our trip. We also loved the cooking class in Cusco!
The best parts:
We really enjoyed Peru overall and like the diversity of the landscape and the surroundings. Everything in Peru seemed to be well coordinated and we had a good idea of what were were doing each day before we set out.
The worst parts:
The trip to Bolivia was another story. I would never go back to La Paz but would simply visit the Salt Flats. Our guides in the Salt Flats were amazing but they were over 30 minutes late picking us up from the Uyuni airport because of confusion on flights. Another issue was the hotel in Ica which was scheduled by the agency. I can't remember if we had an option to stay at the winery but we definitely wish that we would of over the hotel we stayed at (which was a dump). Also, the winery tour had amazing food but the actual tasting was a complete let-down. We tasted two types of Pisco and one White and that was it! Big disappointment. Finally, although we loved Machu Picchu, our guide appeared to be completed stoned and didn't listen to what we wanted. He literally would stop at various intervals and talk for 20-30 minutes about absolutely nothing before finally moving on. I understand that it is important to learn about the culture of the people and the history but much of what he was rambling on an on about was utter nonsense.

We have chosen Peru as our holiday destination because of good comments from friends and out of own interest. Our trip was limited to the southern region of Peru: Lima (short visit), Arequipa, Chivay, Colca Valley, Puno, lake Titikaka, Cusco, Machu Picchu, the rainbow mountain and the rainforest in Puerto Maldonado. The travel distances are sometimes long and early wake-ups in the morning are not exceptional, but the country is worth the effort ! Peru offers a well balanced mixture of history, culture, nature and local lifestyle. The well informed and friendly guides made it all even more attractive. Too many pleasant and interesting things to be mentioned in a brief summary...
The best parts:
Very pleasant and interesting trip, we enjoyed it a lot ! Peru has a lot to offer: amazing history and culture, excellent traditional food, splendid nature, friendly people, ...

Jonas put together the best itinerary for our trip across Peru. He selected the best destinations for our family (my husband, myself, 7 yo daughter, 5 yo son, and my parents). Our accommodations in the Amazon region were amazing. The ******** had wonderful food each day and the tour guides were great. The hikes were very interesting and we got to see a lot of plants and wildlife. From the jungle, we were off to Ollantaytambo. This was such a great little town. Our accommodations at the Samanapaq were perfect. Great location, the staff were awesome. From here we took the train to Machu Picchu. Machu Picchu was amazing, as expected. Once in a lifetime place to go. Our private guide was very knowledgeable. He went at our pace and was able to take many pictures of our family along the way. The next day we spent touring the Sacred Valley, where we visited the agriculture terraces, the Ollantaytambo site, the salt mines and the town of Chinchero. Again, our tour guide was knowledgeable and accommodating. Our next stop was Cusco. This city was amazing and very easy to navigate. We visited the Chocolate museum, did a bus tour of the city, sampled some of the local cuisine. Jonas was able to make reservations for our family at Uchu Peruvian Steakhouse. This was by far the best meal of the trip. The steaks were brought out on hot lava stone and everything tasted amazing!! After Cusco, we headed to for Paracas to visit the Ballestas Islands. We were able to see so many different bird species, one of the Nazca lines (the candelabra), and many sea lions. The islands themselves were beautiful with arches and interesting geology. Our next destination was Huacachina. We had no idea what to expect here, and let me tell you, this was my kids favorite place. Our hostel was in the perfect location with easy access to restaurants and the dune buggys. The dune buggy ride was definitely a thrill! We were laughing, screaming, and having the best time. We sand boarded down a few of the dunes and ended our ride watching the sun set over the dunes. What an amazing adventure. This is the first trip where I didn't plan everything myself. Jonas really did plan the perfect trip for us. We were able to see so much of Peru and we made memories we will never forget.
The best parts:
The itinerary was great. Jonas put together the schedule that was perfect for our family traveling with small children.
The worst parts:
One of the pickups to the airport was a little late and we were worried that we would miss our flights, but alas he arrived. We would have preferred to have more time in Huacachina vs Paracas.

We explored Machu Picchu, Lima, Cusco, the Sacred Valley (Pisac, Moray, Maras salt mines) and loved them all. Perhaps the most moving and memorable was the day we spent with a traditional Quechua family in the village of Huilloc. This was the trip of a lifetime for us.
The best parts:
Just about everything. All the sites/tours were great: Machu Picchu of course, but the other excursions were wonderful too--Pisac, Moray, Maras salt mines, Cusco. Perhaps the most moving and memorable was the day we spent with a traditional Quechua family in the village of Huilloc.
The worst parts:
There was a lot of traveling--in-country flight, train, long car rides--which is hard to avoid when visiting Peru. But the scenery and the tour guides made the train and car somewhat enjoyable. Traffic and driving in Lima is the worst (even though we were just passengers).

Our agent, Jannik was terrific. He was very patient with requests and changes. He arranged a great tour of Manchu Pichu, Cusco and Lima, all with the best guides in Peru. It was a fantastic trip.
The best parts:
The guides were awesome! Everywhere we went, the guides went out of their way to help us. They were informative, on-time, spoke English well and all very proud Peruvians - rightfully so. It was a pleasure to learn about Peru and its culture from each of them.
The worst parts:
Nothing really. The bus ride to Manch Pichu was a bit bumpy.

The worst parts:
I think our only challenge was the language but we got through pretty OK in most cases.
