Our agency operates a minimal impact and sustainability policy to guide our development and operations. Vietnam is a big country from north to south, so we employ local (English-speaking) guides for all our tours. They were born here and live in the area, so they know Vietnam better than anyone else, and it also ensures that a portion of the revenue from our trips stays in the local economy. We also use accommodations and restaurants in small villages run by locals wherever possible, encouraging our guests to engage with the local people in the areas where we visit. We also aim to use local produce from the communities we pass through during our tours.

It's my pleasure to know that you and Robert had an enjoyable journey with us. Yeah, we have constantly got good feedback from our previous guests on all chosen hotels and boat in both Cambodia and Vietnam. Well, it's a bit rainy during your trip in Hoi An. Anyhow I trust you were very satisfied with our 'Farming & Fishing Life tour' on that day. And it's great to meet both of you at Ly Club restaurant in Hanoi. We hope to be of service again for your family in Tet holiday 2020 (Lunar New Year 2020). All the best wishes, SenSee more

    The Pros :
Our POC that planned and coordinated the trip, Sen, was AMAZING! She helped us plan a great trip and was always checking in on us to make sure things were going well and helped to resolve any issues/concerns. Our guide while in the Hanoi region was also amazing. I liked the overnight trains, the caves, the fact we were taken to local places to eat instead of the 'safe' places most tour groups take foreigners. Really enjoyed our hotel in Hue. The bellman was super attentive.
    The Cons:
Nothing on the trip was really all that bad. Our guide in Sapa is probably better matched to guys. He was really nice and a good guide, but not very attentive really. Saigon started a little rough with our guide, but improved throughout the day. Now that I've been to Vietnam I would have planned things a little differently, but the trip was still amazing. Managing expectations is probably the hardest part for a tour company. We had some expectations based on our trip the previous year to Laos, but we did not check if our assumptions were correct, so can't fault any guide or anything.

The overnight train to Sapa was an adventure and our roommies on the train were French and were great. I loved the trek in Sapa. My friend had a lot more issues though. It was hot and we were not really given a lot of breaks. The shuttle back to Hanoi was great in meeting new people. Ha Long Bay was fun. The cruise started a little rough. The guide on the boat, Mr. Lee, kept focusing on how much money we spent and felt like I was in school and being punished for not studying. However, once the cruise was underway things improved greatly. We were treated great once back in Hanoi and were set up to get on the train to our next destination to see caves! The booking company took us to the train, we had extra blanket, and snacks! We were met at the station, given breakfast, and then off to caving! LOVED it. If i were to do over, I would not have done Sapa and spent more time at the caves trekking and exploring. Really amazing. We were then taken to Hue. The hotel was super cute and they gave us a welcoming drink and snack to occupy us while people were checking in. Bell boy was awesome. Next day the pass on to Hoi An was fun and our time at Marble Mountain was great. Old town Hoi An was CRAZY packed with tourists. But our guide showed us where to release lanterns. We went back later and went up/down the river. Was a lot of fun. Loved all the night markets we went to on the trip. Our basket boat tour was fantastic! Our guide was fun and we had a blast. My Son was fantastic. Everything i had imagined. We were then off to Dalat. Our guide was always excited and having fun. My only disappointment is I thought we were going to see more of the coffee farm and processing of coffee. But that was nobody's fault, I should have done better research. I also thought the wine tasting was part of the tour, so was surprised we had to pay, but that was just a simple misunderstanding. We ended the trip in Saigon. Guide was nice and had some good suggestions. My favorites were night markets, My Son, the caves, and even the overnight train.See more

I’ve still remembered the day I met you and Ya-chi in person and we had many interesting conversations at an egg coffee at 39 Nguyen Huu Huan street, Hanoi. I am very pleased that you had a delightful trip in Vietnam with us and were interested in night markets, My Son sanctuary, the caves, the overnight train as well. Yeah, Mrs. Thuc Anh is one of our best guides in the Northern Vietnam. I’ll forward your comments to her and I am sure that she will be very as happy as I am now. In regards to the guide on Estella Cruise on Halong Bay, I trust he tried to make all of guests on the boat feel happy and smile excitedly before the cruise was underway. As soon as receiving your comments on your day trip in Dalat, I did call to check with our guide. He told me that the wine shop didn’t have wine trial any longer when you visit and he’s already informed you before drinking. I am sorry I should have called to check everything was okay when you were in Dalat so we would cover the extra cost for drinking a cup of wine at the shop for you and Ya-chi. Furthermore, I would love to say thank you so much for traveling with us. I wish to welcome you and Ya-chi to Vietnam again next year so I will take Sapa out and give you one more day in Quang Binh to enjoy trekking and exploring caves. All the best wishes, SenSee more
