Like its neighbour Trelew, Gaiman is a small town in the province of Chubut, that has been very marked by the immigration of Welsh people to Argentina in the 19th century.

My suggestion:
If you want to drink tea in the same tea shop as Lady Di during her visit to Gaiman then go to Ty Te Caerdydd. And don't forget to order a raspberry tart like the Princess of Wales did.
My review

Gaiman is a Welsh style village in the province of Chubut in southern Argentina. Here they prefer tea to maté! Tea time is sacred and no one would refuse a torta galesa, the local specialty.

I went to Gaiman when I was staying in with an Argentine friend in Trelew. The town seemed pleasant but that's all. Of course I tried the local cakes and listened to the inhabitants telling me about their town's history. It was these two things that made Gaiman pleasant - the food and the locals' stories.

The town's old station is a museum dedicated to the saga of the railway in Patagonia. Unfortunately I didn't visit it. Gaiman definitely isn't somewhere you have to see during a trip round Argentina but if you staying in the country for a long time and you have the opportunity to go there, and even to stay with some friends, you will enjoy it!
