Those fond of greenery and luxuriance will not be disappointed! Lake Parz is a very beautiful medium mountain lake, surrounded by thick, leafy forests, typical of <a href="/armenia/"> Tavush </a>. Even if the landscape here was less of a change of scene for me than the rocky high plateaus and the arid mountains of other Armenian regions, I must admit that Lake Parz offers a certain perfection.
I discovered it draped in the shimmering colours of autumn, in hues as mellow as they are photogenic. Armenians are not insensitive to the gentleness of Lake Parz , more so as it is located just next to Dilijan, one of the country's most highly prized mountain resorts! Indeed, you can rent a boat here, fish, picnic, take a walk alongside the lake... And appreciate real Armenian style tourism. 
Small but really romantic, nestling in a forest setting at an altitude of 4377 ft., you really must not miss it if you are staying in Dilijan or Ijevan, in fact, you should favour it if, unlike me, you prefer thick leaves to bare meadows!
