Reviews of Cape Range National Park

A wonderfully scenic, heavenly region at the extreme northwest of Australia offering fine sandy beaches, sheer gorges, and a unique marine fauna.

My suggestion:
It can get very hot at Cape Range in summer, with temperatures averaging around 50°C. So try to visit in winter instead (August to September), when the presence of wild flowers only adds to the sheer magic of the place.
My review

The distinctive feature of Cape Range National Park is its impressive gorges, where you can see just how the land has been opened up, uplifted and eroded over thousands of years.

Yardie Creek is Northwest Australia's only permanent river. It has created a wonderful landscape where limestone walls drop down to meet jade-coloured water. Look carefully and you'll spot the inhabitants of these ledges and caves: rock wallabies, a threatened species. Daily sightseeing cruises take visitors on tours of this impressive gorge. If you're looking for something more energetic and sporty however, it's also possible to hire kayaks in the tiny town of Exmouth.

Turquoise Bay, with its white sand and clear turquoise water (hence the name), is the perfect place to go bathing. In my opinion it's one of Western Australia's most beautiful beaches. I particularly enjoyed the snorkelling I did here: the area is rich in corals, fish and other marine animals.
