Sainte-Brigitte-de-Laval is a little municipality half an hour north of Quebec. It's the perfect place for travellers looking for summertime forest walks and snoeshoeing during winter months.

My suggestion:
During your holiday in Canada, come and explore this large, wooded landscape. Sainte-Brigitte is the place to go if you want to enjoy walking in the Séminaire territory.
My review

At Sainte-Brigitte-de-Laval you'll find yourself at the end of a road with two forest paths, one of which leads to the Montmorency River. Once past the town there's only forest and wood! This great holiday spot is only half and hour from Quebec.

Just outside the town, there's an activities club and four walking/cycle paths that will take you to the foot of the mountain, the Séminaire territory or the nearby Lake Beauport. If you like outdoor activities, there are three access points for canoeing, kayaking and rafting. You can also go fishing at Richelieu Park or practise your swing at the village's Alpin Golf Club. Winter sports fans can go snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling around the area. Accommodation-wise there are gites you can rent in this small town of 6,600 residents.

Summertime at Montmorency River, Sainte-Brigitte-de-Laval.
Ste-Brigitte-de-Laval Lake during winter.
