Those of you wanting to <a href="/canada/">ski in Canada</a>, will love Mont-Sainte-Anne. It has a magnificent setting as well as great pistes and half a dozen outdoor activities. There's Alpine and cross-country skiing, snoeshowing, all season mountain biking, forest hikes, camping and a golf course that's open from May onwards. The cable car, which is open for 10 months of the year, will take you to the summit 800m away. From there you can descend by bike and foot, although you may want to climb up the observation tower before taking the cable car back down. Apart from being open all seasons, this is also home to fantastic views across the Saint-Laurent River. Whether you come down a family run or hit the La Pichard piste, one thing you must do is stop at the Sugar Shack! I dare any family, couple or solo-skier to resist their typical Quebecois hot maple taffy. Hotel-wise there are prices for all budgets, both winter and summer. It's worth noting that one of Quebec's few holiday villages is found here. At only 10 minutes away from the resort, you've got the Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré Basilica, well worth a visit whether you're a believer or not.
