Cali is Colombia's third largest city and lies in the west of the country.

My suggestion:
Be sure not to miss Cali's carnival if you visit in December!
My review

I advise anyone visiting Colombia to make a trip to the incredible city of Cali. Lying in a valley on the flanks of the foothills of Colombia's Cordillera Occidental mountain range, Cali is famous as a city where the eating is particularly good. And in fact I can personally confirm this myself!

I've been left with wonderful memories of this culturally and artistically intense, vibrant city.

Cali is a particularly hot place, and not just in terms of temperatures! I recall dancing the salsa into the early hours on wild, energetic nights out in the city's bars. Cali is famous throughout the country for the quality of its salsa dancers; in fact it's sometimes referred to as the world capital of salsa.
