The Piana creeks are red granite cliffs carved through erosion which jut out into the sea from a 300 metre height. Their chaotic forms introduce the imagination to all sorts of jagged and daydream-inducing shapes.
I enjoyed wandering around these many fantastic sculptures, where the contrast between the red rock, the green vegetation and the turquoise sea is truly striking. There are lots of paths and trails in the creeks. Follow some of them and enjoy the different aspects of the site without ever tiring. Most of the existing marked trails begin just outside Piana, one hundred metres after the Pont de Mezzanu (Mezzanu bridge).
