Tizi n'Tamatert is a mountain pass of the Toubkal and rises to a height of more than 2279 metres above sea level in the High Atlas.

My suggestion:
Before climbing the pass, make a stop at Imlil.
My review

If you leave the village of Tamatert, less than 1 kilometre from the Col of Tizi n'Tamatert, expect an ascent of 30 to 45 minutes in a north easterly direction. Trekking novices should pay careful attention on the narrow trail that leads to the pass.

When you arrive at Tizi n'Tamatert you will receive a warm welcome during your holiday in Morocco. You will find a small refreshment stall (no, it is not a mirage!) with soft drinks and mint tea. Imagine yourself sipping a drink overlooking a stunning view of the Toubkal. A unique stopover!

This is undoubtedly a welcoming and refreshing stop with its corrugated metal shelter which gives relative protection from the winds, which are quite strong in this region. But when the gusts of wind heighten, hold on tight, you will have the impression that this tiny shelter will end up on the road below.
