Chegaga is a place right in the middle of the desert, about 60 km from Mhamid, where you will find some of the most beautiful dunes in the country.

My suggestion:
It's impossible to get there alone without a GPS or a highly developed sense of direction. You absolutely must use a guide.
My review

Chegaga isn't a classic part of a tour during a trip to Morocco. I have worked as a guide for an agency that organises motorcycle raids. So I've been to this remote and still relatively unknown area several times.

The very high dunes are superb here, and it's the perfect playground for motorcyclists, and all-terrain vehicle drivers, professional and amateur. If you come with an agency you can spend the night in the middle of the desert, camping beneath a sky full of stars. The programme includes barbecued lamb and Berber dances which will leave you with lots of great memories. I sincerely recommend this option to you just because it will let you see the sun set and then rise. The most fabulous moments of the day in the desert.
