My suggestion
Walk at a pace you find comfortable to reduce the risk of altitude sickness – especially at heights of 3,000-3,500 metres and above – and be fully prepared to head back down if you begin to experience any symptoms.

Trek organisers will often play down the physical effort required to undertake this hike. Make sure you're well prepared, as nights are glacial at this altitude. Condensed soups and cereal bars are great energy boosters!
