Vøringsfossen Waterfall, like so many places in Norway, is spectacular. It is part of the town of Eidfjord, which is located in HardangerviddaNational Park, an area that is much loved by walkers.

My suggestion:
Make sure your camera is charged up, you'll need it! The viewpoint is very high up so be careful, don't try getting even closer for a better view.
My review

This place will be what you are looking for if you like nature and wide open spaces. Vøringsfossen Waterfall is easily accessible via a path off the main road. There are several view points where you can see it but the best is the one that overlooks it from an altitude of 183 m. If you can't spend a lot of time there then try to arrange your day so you are there during lunchtime - a few extra minutes in this place are worth it.

As you are in the middle of the mountains, even in the middle of July the weather is cool. This is beautiful nature. It's a very big place and you feel small in the middle of such size. I know they aren't real, but I couldn't help expecting to see a troll appearing out of nowhere.

If you want your trip to Norway to be even more beautiful, then make the most of Eidfjord's location to visit the western fjord region,
