Babia Gora National Park covers more than 30 km² (the majority is forest) and was created in the '50s. It's located in southern Poland, on the border with Slovakia (at the opposite end to Bratislava).
It was added to the UNESCO World Network of Biosphere Reserves; if you're slightly lucky, you'll be able to see a few animals living in these mountains. I only had chance to see some rare birds flying. Bears, deer and some lynx live in these woods... Incredible beauty for those lucky ones who will be able to see them.
There are also lots of hiking paths marked on all of the mountain in Babia Gora, and none of them necessarily require an Olympic shape, so if you want to get a good breath of fresh air, get your shoes on!
