A small seaside village which is home to several beautiful rock formations on the cliffs.

My suggestion:
Cross the Hellnahraun site by walking between Arnarstapi and Hellnar.
My review

Arnarstapi is a small fishing village situated to the south of the Snaefellsnes peninsula and is one of my favourite places to stop off at when I visit the Icelandic peninsula.

A few hundred metres from Arnarstapi are steep cliffs where many birds nest and rock formations multiply: arches, lava formations, crevices, and water gushing out of rocks...

I love walking along these formations and admiring the beautiful scenery, surrounded by the impressive strength of the ocean and the powerful waves breaking on the rocks.

I always briefly stop off at the peculiar building which dominates the entrance to the village. One day, I'll have some information on its origins!
