A small town, famous for its pink flamingoes, located a few kilometres from Mêrida on Yucatán's east coast.

My suggestion:
Consider hiring a kayak and paddling up and down the canals of the mangrove swamp at the superb reserve adjoining the town – adventure and discovery guaranteed!
My review
Celestún is both a picturesque fishing town and a premier ecotourism destination. Its main attraction is the Ría Celestún Biosphere Reserve, a veritable paradise for ornithologists … and for those in search of discovery! The site is famous mainly for its pink flamingoes, which can be seen in their thousands here – a spectacle that's simply breathtaking to behold.

A town of fisherman with the aspect of a village, a small air of a part of everyone.

My suggestion:
Waking up early in the morning and having a coffee not in the principal place to see the town wake up.
My review

I have spent a few days very restful in Celestun. The town centre isn't very big and doesn't really offer much in the way of cultural appeal. I have despite this, appreciated walking through the almost deserted streets and observing daily Mexican life.

The Celestun beach certainly isn't the most beautiful that I have been able to see during my stay in Mexico, but it presents a very particular charm with its fishing boats hidden and its abandoned coast. At night to try grilled fish and prawns with feet in the sand without any other noise except that of the waves is quite simply pleasing, this is what I have personally preferred.

I have found this boat trip in the natural park very agreeable and interesting. The envoys of Fleming roses by the 100 are mind-blowing, even if I have had to see there from afar The part of the mangrove swamps with tinted red waters has completely stupified me, I have never seen anything of the like.
